U13A Rd3 V Truagh/Clonlara
Truagh/Clonlara took the points from this clash as our girls travelled to Duanass last Wednesday evening. From the outset the St. Joseph’s defenders were under severe pressure but coped very well and at half time were delighted to be behind by only 2 points, thanks to Shauna Moloney who scored both from frees. The second half proved much the same but girls never gave in even when Truagh/Clonlara rattled the net with a superb goal. They added another 3 points while Doora Barefield could only manage a point once again by Shauna Moloney from a free. Despite the scoreline St. Joseph’s put in a galant display of Camogie skills and battled right to the final whistle but at that whistle it was to be the home side on top, Truagh/Clonlara 1-7, St. Joseph’s 0-3
