The parish had Doonbeg on the ropes and was there a shock on the cards. Davy O Brien notched over his 4 point on the 42 min from play. Doora Barefield had the wind and winning dirty ball here and there but from somewhere Doonbeg went to the well and turned the game on its head with a score of 2.02 within five mins of the second half 47 – 52 min of second half. Two goals in the second half were the turning point of the game where they should have been cleared where the second was on a turn over from a kick out and high ball into the small square where it was not cleared.
