Under 14 Boys Football Blitz
Hi All
Under 14 boys football team are playing a blitz this weekend at Gurteen involving Portlaoise, Castlebar Mitchels and Clan Na Ngael from their respective counties. Throw in will be at 11.45 and all support is greatly appreciated.
There is tea and coffee available in the club house. Come along on Saturday morning to support your team.
Great preparation for the Feile. Barefield lads won the first game comfortably against Clann na Gael from Roscommon. A very entertaining second game against Castlebar Mitchels resulted in a draw. The final game was against a well organised Portlaoise team, with Barefield finally running out winners. it was an excellent performance from the home team who had to dig really deep on a number of occasions to get over the line. Will done to all involved and all parents who helped make some wonderful memories.
